Founded on May 30, 1996, the Colorado Reined Cowhorse Association was established to create opportunities for horsemen and horsewomen to showcase the talent and versatility of the ever-growing sport of working cow horse. We are proud to offer futurities, derbies, horse show classes, and spectaculars across Open, Non Pro, and Youth divisions.
Over the years, CRCA has been honored as Affiliate and Reserve Affiliate of the Year by our parent organization, the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA).
CRCA is led by a 12-member Board of Directors elected annually by the general membership. Together, the board works to continually improve each show, striving to create events that are competitive, well-run, and enjoyable for all participants.
We take pride in the camaraderie, leadership, and lasting friendships that define our association and are evident at every CRCA event. With shows held across Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, members enjoy not only beautiful landscapes but access to some of the best facilities in the region.
